Short overview about What Is Cisco Aci Epg and what's good to know about.
An Application-Centric Infrastructure (ACI) is a Cisco architecture that enables scalable multi-tenant environments with policy-based automation. The ACI approach uses a centralized policy model to declaratively specify the desired application connectivity and security. The ACI infrastructure then enforces the application connectivity and security policies consistently and automatically across the entire network.
The Cisco Nexus 7000 and 7700 Series Switches in the core layer provide high-density 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 40 Gigabit Ethernet port densities, as well as port speeds of up to 100 Gigabits per second (Gbps). The Cisco Nexus 7000 and 7700 Series Switches also offer the industry’s highest port-density Fiber Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) and Fibre Channel (FC) ports.
The Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches support a wide range of features, including:
• Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN)
• Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS)
• Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) and Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6)
• Cisco OTV
• jumbo frames
• Quality of Service (QoS)
• Access Control Lists (ACLs)
