Before creating an EPG, you must first establish the following components:

  1. A tenant
  2. An application profile
  3. A bridge domain

Once these components have been created, you can then proceed with creating the EPG. To create an EPG, use the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Tenants tab.
  2. Select the tenant in which you want to create the EPG.
  3. Click the Application Profiles tab.
  4. Select the application profile to which you want to add the EPG.
  5. Click the Bridge Domains tab.
  6. Select the bridge domain to which you want to add the EPG.
  7. Click the Endpoints tab.
  8. Click the Add button.
  9. Enter a name for the EPG.
  10. Select the type of EPG you want to create. There are three types of EPGs:

a. Bridge Domain EPGs - Used to allow communication between endpoints within the same bridge domain. b. External EPGs - Used to allow communication between endpoints in different bridge domains. c. Filter EPGs - Used to allow communication between endpoints in different tenants.

  1. Select the appropriate options for the EPG.
  2. Click the Save button.
