The Cisco ACI Virtual Edge for AWS is a virtual machine (VM) that you deploy in your AWS environment. It provides the same features and functionality as the physical Cisco ACI appliance, but it’s deployment is much simpler. You can use the Cisco ACI Virtual Edge for AWS to connect your AWS environment to your on-premises data center or to other AWS VPCs.

The Cisco ACI Virtual Edge for AWS is available in two different sizes:

Small (t2.medium): 4 vCPUs, 8 GB RAM, and 2 10-Gbps NICs

Large (m4.xlarge): 8 vCPUs, 16 GB RAM, and 4 10-Gbps NICs

You can deploy the Cisco ACI Virtual Edge for AWS in a matter of minutes. And, you can use it with any Cisco ACI-supported device, including the Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches.

The Cisco ACI Virtual Edge for AWS is a great way to extend your Cisco ACI policy and tools to your AWS environment. It’s simple to deploy and use, and it provides the same features and functionality as the physical Cisco ACI appliance.
